Carrot Cake

While pastry is not my specialty, it’s certainly fun for me. I enjoyed making this cake for a birthday celebration. It varies slightly from the traditional carrot cake by being slightly more spice-centric. Those deep flavors are balanced with the candied carrot rosettes and decadent caramel sauce.
